Made from the sun-dried skins of coffee cherries and enjoyed as refreshing fruit teas, delicious hot or cold, cascara tastes excellent all year round.
HOW CASCARA IS MADE
To make cascara, coffee is first de-pulped, and the cherry skins are collected and washed. They are sterilized with ozone water, which ensures that any potential bacteria are killed. After the skins are washed, they are sun-dried and prepared for export.
